The Role of a Volunteer Leader

A Young Life leader's main role is to build relationships with high school, middle school or college students, providing them with positive role models and sharing their lives. Leaders walk alongside students as they navigate the ups and downs of life and model faith lived out in the real world. Young Life leaders show up in kids lives by attending football games, soccer practice, orchestra concerts, or the mall - anywhere kids are - to intentionally meet new kids or invest in those you already know.  YL Leaders are part of a team of adults who work together to lead weekly Club and Campaigners meetings and take kids to weekend and summer camps.  It is an incredible opportunity to serve the community by being a YL Leader!  Check out the video below to learn more about it.
Who Can Become a Volunteer Leader?

To become a volunteer leader, you must:
          1.  Love the Lord
          2.  Love high school, middle school or college students
We are always in need of talented people who want to introduce adolescents to Jesus Christ and help them grow in their faith.  There is no age limit to being a Young Life leader; kids need caring adults in their lives and they respond to being cared for, regardless of the age of the leader.
